Eidolon I + II at DDW 2025

Framed e-ink installations where images appear and fade into one another, like a ghostly memory. Blending craftmanship framing with contemporary technology, it explores perception and interpretation—inviting viewers to experience presence and absence in fixed, yet fleeting, objects.
 

These are on display at the United Cowboys Arthouse in Kleine Berg, Eindhoven, for the entire duration of the design week. The artworks are both for sale, get in touch at jonas@jonassjovaag.no if you're interested. 

Itzama installation

Itzama installation to be shown in Kristiansand

My installation piece, the Itzama stalagmite, will be shown at Kraftverk, Kristiansand, during, and beyond, the upcoming symposium of songwriting. It will happen from Nov. 8th till 9th, and the installation will be available for some time to come.

In That Dark Night: Upcoming single

As mentioned, a new single is coming soon. It's called "In That Dark Night" and is sort of a power ballad, or something like that, where Andreas Ulvo plays the piano and Max Eilert plays the bass. No guest artists this time, but in return, I play solo myself, even on a drum machine.

In That Dark Night, music video

This video has since its release won some awards, been shown around the world, sometimes as part of the winners section, sometimes as part of the "refused" section (like in Grimstad, Norway).

The point of this video was to make something more from that trembling emotion inherent in the track, and to further emphasize on that. I think it worked.
